New York: Devin-Adair Company, 1941. First Edition. Good in decorated gray cloth covered boards with black and red text on the spine and with a black design and red text on the front board. The cloth is heavily worn and frayed at the head and heel of the spine and worn through at the lower edge of the front and rear boards. There is a prior owner's name on the front paste down. Without its issued dust jacket. This is Eric Sloane's first book which is quite scarce. 74 pages of text and illustrations followed by two un-numbered pages.
