Book #16 in the classic series featuring girl sleuth, Nancy Drew, & her chums, Bess & George. Orig. published in 1939, this is a later "blue tweed" printing from the mid-1950s (1954C-37, per Farah's 11th), with digger endpapers & a white spine DJ, with cover art & plain frontispiece by Russell Tandy; no internals. Orig. text in 214 pages, 25 chapters. Condition is Near Fine: exceptionally clean & bright, with just a hint of rubbing to extremities & bumped corners. Blue topstain is deep & rich. Pages unmarked. Binding strong, with a hint of a rightward lean; hinges intact. The unclipped DJ is VG+, with extremely light chipping at both ends of spine & corners of front cover; colors bright, no fading; nicely protected in new mylar cover Free!
