Just a touch of shelf/edge wear to maroon cloth boards with silver and gilt titles- corners sharp. Moderate shelf/edge wear and some age toning to original unclipped Dj - now in mylar. All 1st edition points are present including 1/66 date on bottom of front DJ flap. Small circular dot embossed on the rear board about two inches from the bottom edge. Previous owner stamp on front DJ flap. All pages are clean and unmarked. Topstain is dusty. The Book-Of-The-Month Club really made a mess for collectors by indicating "First Printing" and leaving the price on the dust jacket ($5.95)) so that everybody thinks they have a first edition.
