1966. First (pirated). Hardcover . Used - very good/Near very good. 12mo. Although 'first printing' is stated, but this is a pirated edition, thus not a true first. Printed on cheap paper stock in a reduced format. Green cloth VG except for small triangular discoloration to head of spine, in unclipped ($5.95) dj which is moderately rubbed with small chips to extremities and one larger chip, roughly 1' square, at head of spine, continuing around to front panel. Dj now protected in removable mylar.

Synopsis

In Cold Blood is a nonfiction book by American author Truman Capote. The book details the brutal 1959 murders of Herbert Clutter, a wealthy farmer from Holcomb, Kansas, and his wife and two of their children. When Capote learned of the quadruple murder before the killers were captured, he decided to travel to Kansas and write about the crime.
