About This Item
New York, N.Y.: The Mysterious Press, 1995. First Edition, First Printing. Cloth and boards. Near Fine/Near Fine. INSCRIBED by the Author on the title page, 8vo, black quarter cloth with copper lettering on spine over maroon boards; archival mylar-protected pictorial dust jacket (unclipped) depicting a smoked salmon created by Daniel Pelavin, 294 pages. Attractive copy: tight, bright, clean. The unclipped dust jacket has one small closed tear and slight ruffling to the head of the dj's spine--otherwise fine in a clear protective cover. No previous owner or remainder marks.

Kathrine Kristine Beck (born 1950), known as K. K. Beck, is an American novelist. She has written over a dozen books, some of which were part of the Iris Cooper novel series and--like this handsome mystery--the Jane da Silva novel series.
