A most interesting book filled with photographs and reproduced documents related to the French experience under the German occupation. Included for instance is a photograph of Robert Anthelme who was the husband of the author who wrote under the name Marguerite Duras. Also is a note from him written at Buchenwald on May 1st, 1945, two days after the camp was liberated.
