Good-Very Good. 8vo. cover illustration Gregory Rogers Collected Poems of Charles Buckmaster, who suicided at the age of 21 having destroyed all his manuscripts, apart from The Lost Forest and the self-published Deep Blue and Green; edited by long-time friend Simon MacDonald who worked to collect further poems from correspondence, magazines and journals; this volume contains over 100 poems and includes Buckmaster's personal notes and miscellaneous writings; from the library of American/Australian poet Billy Jones, inscribed by Jones to half-title page ""Given to me by Simon August 22 1990"" (I'm assuming 'Simon' to be Simon MacDonald); Jones has also underlined numerous passages throughout, and occasionally drawn a spiral at the end of some poems; the book has clearly been read through, generally G-VG.
