This is one of five hundred large paper copies printed in 1926 and signed by the Poet. Largely Unopened. Rubbed, bumped front fore-edge corner with a small tear along bottom edge, lightly rubbed remaining fore-edge corner tips, and lightly age-toned text block, else, Pristine, no wear. No markings, tight binding, clean, white, and bright. 7.25" x 9". Quarter Vellum with blue paper-covered boards, and gilt lettering to. In mylar protector. "James Stephens, (1880-1950), Irish poet and storyteller whose pantheistic philosophy is revealed in his fairy tales set in the Dublin slums of his childhood and in his compassionate poems about animals.".
