Braun & Cie., Paris, 1951. 12.25" X 9" in grey cloth. Very light foxing flyleaf & rear endpaper only. VERY slight discoloration towars top edge of both covers. Otherwise, excellent: about VERY GOOD condition. Jacket - Tear in back panel, soiled esp on spine, shelfwear, starting to chip: about FAIR PLUS to GOOD MINUS condition. 12pp introduction by Valery is followed by a short discussion of the photos. The balance of the book is 216 exquisitely composed, crystal clear, black & white photos by Martin Hurlimann. There are 16pp of brief comments on each picture at the end of the book. A nostalgic look back at the Paris of nearly 60 years ago. FRENCH TEXT.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair.
