Navy cloth covered boards are bumped at bottom corners. Bump to head of spine. Unmarked pages are clean and crisp. Binding straight and tight. Price clipped paper dust jacket overlaid by clear & yellow acetate jacket with a price of 6.50. Paper jacket with edge wear and chipping at edges and very short closed tear at top rear spine hinge. Acetate jacket is rubbed with two tears: closed tear at bottom front edge near spine and tear at top rear spine corner with tiny chip out. Both jackets now encased in protective mylar cover. One of twenty-five hundred copies signed by the author of which this is number A85. In addition to author's signature on limited edition page, also signed by the author and inscribed to prev owner in front free end paper. Special Lewis and Clark edition commemorating the 50th volume in the Rivers of America Series.
