Morningside Heights: Columbia University Press, 1933 Book. Very Good. Original Cloth. No. 481 of 500. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Original grey-blue cloth with blindstamped decoration on cover and giltstamped lettering on spine. Small area of green discolouration (crayon?) and small stain at bottom left corner of back cover. Some foxing, mostly on page edges. This limited edition book details the nearly 500 recipients of honourary degrees conferred by Columbia University over a 30-year period. The "appreciations" were written by Nicholas Butler, who was the twelfth president of Columbia University. 195 pages..
