New York: Random House,, 1966. First edition, first printing. This charming title from the Beginner Books series explores the homes of children across the world: "Your child will be invited into houses he never knew existed" (dust jacket blurb). Original illustrated boards, spine and front cover lettered in red and black, illustrated endpapers. With dust jacket. Illustrated throughout by Richard Erdoes. A very good copy, extremities rubbed and a little bumped; dust jacket spine ends and corners chipped, short closed tear to front panel, a very good example of the jacket. Younger & Hirsch 14.
