Rubbed spine ends, paper wearing. Corners heavily rounded, cloth worn through. Wear and soiling to boards, cloth wearing through at edges. Dusty top text block edge, remaining edges just starting to fox. Free endpapers starting to tan. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Edited by F J Furnivall and W G Boswell-Stone.
