DJ: Very Good; Price Clipped front flap at bottom corner (typical for the UK); suntoned spine; light shelfwear to edges. Maroon cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering to the spine. Clean internals. Interior hinges are sound and not split. 300 pp 8vo. This is an assessment of the character and value of St. Luke as theologian no less than historian, encouraging the study of his gospel as a great religious document and a primary source of Christian doctrine. Long regarded primarily as an accurate recorder of events, St. Luke has more recently been recognized for his theology and her he is considered from both points of view. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
