Printed for Samuel Bagster, in the Strand, by R. Watts, at Broxbourne, on the River Lea, Herts, London, 1815. 8vo up to 9½" tall., 514 pp. Portrait frontispiece, full page engravings and numerous in-text illustrations including etchings by Percy Thomas, paintings by John Linnell, and engravings by G.E. Lodge; monthly fishing calendar, publisher's ads. Professionally rebound in quarter dark brown leather over marbled boards, marbled edges and endpapers. Toning to title page with offsetting from plates; occasional foxing spots. Tightly bound with some page corners remaining uncut. A beautiful collectible copy.
