Leipzig: A. G. Liebeskind, 1847. 3rd Edition. Hardcover. Good. 2 vols.: lxxx, [4], 1655; vii, 1273 p. 24 cm. Half leather with marbled boards. Edges worn and scuffed. Remains of label on front of vol. II. "Compiled from authors of established reputation, and exhibiting the pronunciation of every word, according to Walker, Smart and other prominent English orthoepists." Third edition is "much improved and augmented with upwards of forty thousand new articles which are not contained in the second edition." Vol. II does not give edition number. Title page and preface repeated in German.
