New York: The Modern Library, 1969. 1st Thus. Very Good. Translated into English Verse and with a foreward and notes by Samual Solomon; intorduction by Katherine Wheatley. Volume 1 contains: The Theban Brothers, Alexander the Great, Andromache, The Litigants, Britannicus, Berenice. Volume 2 contains: Bajazet, Mithridates, Iphigenia, Phaedra, Esther, Athaliah. Volumes are uniform including with the following notes: black cloth over boards with publisher's device impressed into front cover and with device, title, author, translator, list of plays, and publisher on spine. Corners bumped, edgewear rubbed, a few spots to fore edges. Interior fine. No dust jackets.
