Description:
London: Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1930. First edition, hardcover, 231 pages. Small, decorative book-plate on front pastedown, spine a little browned, a little foxing (brown age spots) on endpapers and edges, else a nice firmly-bound Very Good copy. All the tipped-in illustration plates are present, the hinges are firm and uncracked, and the book sits square with no spine slant. Overall, quite a nice copy of an interesting and collectable book. This book might not teach you to ski like an Olympic athelete but it will teach you to ski like people did in the Twenties and Thirties!.
