Boston: J. B. Lippincott, 1867. First Edition Thus. Hardcover. Good. 15 volume set of the complete works of William H. Prescott. Published by J. B. Lippincott, Boston, 1867-1871. The books measure 5.25" x 8.25". Bound in publisher's original half leather binding over marbled boards, all edges marbled. The set is in good condition. The boards are mostly well preserved with moderate to heavy shelf wear. Leather is chipped and torn at the spine ends of some volumes. Leather is dried and cracked on most of the spines and board corners. The front board of Ferdinand and Isabella volume II is detached. The complete works of William H. Prescott include: Conquest of Peru, Conquest of Mexico, Ferdinand and Isabella, Philip the Second, Charles the Fifth, and Miscellanies.
