The set is uniformly bound in red cloth covered boards with the titles blocked in gilt on the spines. Each Volume measures 12" x 9". Vol 1 ~ Palestrina To Beethoven - has 175 pages and is illustrated with 159 b/w and sepia 'Composers' Autograph' Plates.Vol 2 ~ Schubert To Stravinsky - has 181 pages and is illustrated with 140 b/w and sepia 'Composers' Autograph' Plates. There is a little foxing to the endpapers, otherwise the wrappers, bindings and contents are in excellent condition with no other foxing, bumps, inscriptions or markings. VG+/VG+. .
