This book is an antique and is in fair condition. The binding is loose and cracked on the inside of the front board. Dark green cloth covered boards that have significant wear on the edges, spine and corners. The previous owners signature is written on the inside of the front board. The pages are tanned and yellowed, but are still readable.Also a Life Sketch of Theodore Roosevelt and "memorial tributes by statesmen, ministers, orators and rulers of all countries"; profusely illustrated with photos, drawings and "special pictures of the Family by Express Permission from the Owners"

Paris: Petit Courrier des Enfans, 1841. Two volumes. First edition. Quarter red leather with gilt titles to red boards. A little bumping and rubbing to the edges of the boards. Each volume contains 12 engraved plates - so 24 in total. The wide pages are each divided in 4 columns, and pagination is by column, rather than page. Each volume contains 12 issues, each containing 12 pages and a plate. These are not dated, but have the title to the top of the first (4) pages. So each volume has 144 pages (despite a pagination of 576.) Some darkening / spotted foxing to the pages, but overall in very respectable condition. 250 x 180 mm (9¾ x 7 inches). Deux tomes.
