An uncommon work, especially with the dustwrapper in such a complete state. This novel follows Godfrey Chudleigh on his journey to the Argentine. He is then kidnapped due to a family's possession of Inca treasure. A gripping tale, by the author of many children's books. Elinor M Brent-Dyer wrote over 100 novels in her lifetime and is best known for her 'Chalet School' series. Condition: In a full cloth binding and held in original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Age toning to the board edges as well as to the head and tail of spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of spine. Dustwrapper is generally smart. Wrap has been covered in plastic adhesive for preservative purposes. Chips to the head and tail of spine. Patches of light rubbing to the joints and extremities. Several spots to the wrap, both internally and externally. Wrap is somewhat sunned, particularly to the spine. Tape repairs internally to the head of wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned, particularly to the edges. Just the odd spots. Overall Condition: Very Good Indeed in a Good dustwrapper.
