Covers the lead-up to war; Much on the naval engagements in Texas, Sabine Pass, Galveston; the Trans-MIssissippi; Brownsville, Texas units at Shiloh, Vicksburg, Chickamaugua, Pleasant Hill etc. Then a chapter on aftermath and Reconstruction. Similar info on Florida units. A few b/w photos. VG/No Jacket. Extremely sturdy binding, being in red cloth with 3/4 reinforced cloth on spione and corners.
