Description:
New York: Ives Washburn Inc. 1940. First edition, first printing. First edition, first printing. Original green cloth with black card illustration to the upper board and titles to the spine, in dustwrapper. A better than very good copy, the binding clean and square, the contents with a number in ink on the front free endpaper and a little tanning of the text block. Complete with the rubbed and nicked very good pictorial dustwrapper which has small chips to the head of the spine. Rare, exceptionally so in the dustwrapper. The book was later re-issued as "Confessions of a Winning Poker Player". "Few players recall big pots they have won, strange as it seems, but every player can remember with remarkable accuracy the outstanding tough beats of his career." - Jack King.
