Fact-filled and high-spirited, based on the written record and interview with close associate of John Connally in the legal, business and political arena, the story encompasses Connally's rise from humble beginnings to his eminence. It is a turned war hero, poor boy turned millionaire, Democrat turned Republican. Condition: Edges sunned, stain on back paste down.
