About This Item

[TWAIN, MARK] [Clemens, S. L.] Rodgers, Richard, and Lorenz Hart. A CONNECTICUT YANKEE, A MUSICAL ADAPTATION OF MARK TWAIN...THOU SWELL. New York: Harms Inc., 1927. First edition. Sheet music (music and lyrics by Rodgers and Hart). Original orange printed wrapper. Very good. This is one of six songs from the stage version that were printed in sheet music form; we have never seen a complete set. This song gained widespread fame from Natalie Cole's recording of it.
