Soiling and chipping to dj, heaviest at spine ends with 2" closed tears to front and rear panel. Rarely seen with it's dust jacket. Rubbing to cloth at spine ends with light board exposure at corners. Clean interior. Only two copies in the OCLC. Scarcely seen with its dust jacket. Beautiful color illustrations by Elaine Wittert of a precocious anthropomorphic clock briefly stopping time so that a family of fungi can grow and join in the fun at a carnival.
