Colorado was one of the states established in land ceded by Mexico in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which concluded the Mexican-American War in 1848. This Spanish edition of the constitution adopted when Colorado became a state indicates the survival of that language among its residents some 30 years later. OCLC locates 7 copies, 2 in law libraries (Harvard, University of Washington). Not in Babbitt.
