Paris: chez Ladvocat, 1823. First edition, 2 vols., 12mo (164 x 95 mm), [2], xi, [1], 209, [1]; [6], 267, [1]pp., each volume with half-title and additional engraved title with vignette, with neat private library bookplate, some occasional light foxing mostly to beginning and end, cont. quarter calf, patterned-paper boards, vellum tips, smooth spines lettered in gilt direct, a very nice set. Sophie Panier or Pannier (1793-1859) wrote a number of novels as well as translating novels by Brunton and Kelty into the French. Quérard VI, 580; JISC locating the Corvey copy only.
