Shelfwear, spotting to boards with some peeling to paper boards. Top edge trimmed (after a fashion); fore-edge and tail untrimmed. Moderate age-toning/browning throughout, but does not at all obscure text. Previous owners' (different) signatures at either end. of the book. In front is Joseph Whitney, dated 1828, and at rear is Samuel A. Houghton. 304 pp. Feb. 1798.
