Corbitt & Hunter. Collectible - Good. Newcastle upon Tyne: Corbitt & Hunter, 1964. Sm 4to hardcover. xvii+238pp. B/W frontis and numerous illustrations. Good book and Fair dust jacket. Corners bumped; the front board's upper right corner bowed. The upper corner of each page curled. The top-edge of the rear endpage slightly dampstained. Jacket browned, moderately shelfworn with rippling to the upper 2" of the front panel. A tear to the front panel's upper joint. Mendel Peterson's copy with his personalized bookplate to the front pastedown. Peterson was the former curator of the Smithsonian Institution and is considered to be the father of underwater archaeology. Inquire if you need further information.
