Hardback, rebound in half-leather by Hatchette of London, in blue leather with five raised bands and gilt titling to the spine and marbled boards. Top edge gilt. 19 × 12.5cm, 235pp. French text. A book of Claudel's Catholic poetry, first published in 1915. Condition: This copy is in very good condition, there is some mottled fading to the spine but the leather is in otherwise very good condition. Internally, the pages are clean and the binding is secure. Neat previous owner's name to ffep.
