First part of a series of mathematics texts written by Bezout to be readily understandable to students. Full cheep, 19.5 cm tall, xvi, 256 pages, illustrated with small engraved head and tailpieces. Covers extremely chipped with surface split to spine covering, sound binding, front free endpaper absent, rear free endpaper heavily chipped, pages aged with occasional marginalia in French, a few minor chips and closed edge tears, two small ink spots to far outer edges of the first sixteen pages (not affecting text).. Hard Cover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
