TEN color photo postcards in perfect condition laid in - each one picturing some aspect of Jimmy Carter's life in Plains, Georgia - one of them is a photo of Jimmy Carter and author and first cousin Hugh Carter, and is signed by Hugh Carter on the back of the postcard. Book is bound in brown cloth boards with metallic lettering on spine; no bumping or wear; small faint water stain to upper right corner of front board, otherwise clean. Signed on front free endpaper: "Hugh Carter - Jimmy's 1st Cousin." No previous owner names or bookplates. Illustrated with photographs. 366 pages with Index. Dust jacket is clean, not price clipped, but has 1" chip at upper rear panel corner (mended with clear tape at some point), a few short closed edge tears; now enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. There is also a card laid in from the Carter Center signed "With best wishes, Jimmy Carter," - however, this was a printed signature, as verified by the Carter Center..
