Quarto. 88 pp. Black and white photomechanically reproduced photos throughout, as is the text. A history of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, documenting its founding, its roles in wars from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, Spanish-American War, etc., as well as improvements and structures, etc. VERY GOOD+ condition. Small split in black cloth binding at the head of the spine.
