Year after year, one after another, the babies of Marybeth Tinning died, nine of them over the past fourteen years. Why did nobody notice? Not the neighbors, not the doctors, not the coroner, not the social workers, not even Mr. Tinning. A story too terrible to be true, but it is. Book is clean with tight, solid binding. There is a greyish strip on the lower edges of the front and back board and a small grayish spot above that line on the front, slight rubbing of some edges. Interior is very clean and unmarked. Jacket is clean with edgewear. little chips at corners, spine head scruffy with a small tear, spine tail with two small closed tears. 363 with index. 5.75 x 8.5 inches. Wm Morrow Publisher, New York, 1989.
