Adirondack Museum/Syracuse University Press. Syracuse. 1968 . First Edition stated. viii 207 pages. The tan covers are in very good condition, with only some minor bumping along the top and bottom of spine/corners and a small spot on the front edge. The title and editor are in gold on blue on the spine. The binding is solid. The dust jacket is essentially missing, but the inside front flap of the dust jacket with original price ($13.75) is laid in the back. The interior of the book is in very good condition with no writing detected; there is a rather large smudge mark on page 55 but the rest of the pages appear to be clean. There are two small spots on the page edges. The book includes many black/white photographs, including some dated from the late 1800's and early 1900's. The book also includes 3 maps, one of which is a two-page fold-out of the Cranberry Lake region. The book includes writings by the editor, Albert Fowler and other authors including Atwood Manley and Marshall Howlett Durston.
