Philadelphia: Carey, Lea, & Blanchard, 1835. Hardcover. Ex-Library. Three volume set in two piece slipcase! Hardcovers with green cloth boards in homemade wrappers, 1835, octavos, 274pp., 230pp., and 276pp., not illustrated. Books ex-library with only indication being a blindstamp to title page of volume one; otherwise fair with handwritten sticker labels on spines that are tearing, rubbing and soil to boards, endpapers have plates and papers pasted to them, some underlining and marginalia, texts foxed and toned throughout. DJs have cut outs on spines to see some of homemade labels. Slipcase VG with rubbing and shelfwear, handsome gilt title.
