About This Item
Boston: Little Brown, 1898. Hardcover. VG-. Very Good minus is maroon cloth with gilt tiles on cover and spine, deckled edges. No edition stated, probably first. Tissue guard between frontis and title page. 528 pages plus back matter. Front cover has an abrasion from what looks like removal of something that had adhered to it. Heavy wear to spine at base and crown and rubbing to edges, binding just starting to weaken but generally soundsound and all pages are healthy. Chapters include Tulchuherris, Hawt, The Hakkas and the Tennas, Sukonia's Wives and the Ichpul Sisters, Haka Kaina, The Flight of Tsanunewa and Defeat of Hehku and eighteen others. A gorgeous piece.
