About This Item
J. W. Arrowsmith. Bristol. 1891. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. (8.7 x 5.8 inches). Illustrated throughout with mono engravings and photographs, mostly portraits of players and old match scenes. A fine, bright and fresh copy in publishers original dark green cloth with gilt lettering to the front board and spine. Yellow coated endpapers. A couple of very small marks to the top of the spine, otherwise a fine and sharp copy that looks unread. Overall a superior copy of this classic work.
