First edition, folio, pp. 196; 4 engraved plates, including folding facsimile, title page printed in terracotta and black; full contemporary gilt-tooled calf recently rebacked, new endpapers; corners a bit dinged, offsetting from plates, else a very good copy. "The intention of the publisher was to submit for his patrons and subscribers, such anecdotes of Oliver Cromwell as could be collected."
