Book has shelfwear, edgewear, bumped corners, dampstaining to covers, fraying and splitting to top and bottom of spine, toning to pages, a crack that's started at the front interior hinge (netting visible), a former owner's name on the front endpapers, soiling to covers and edges of text block, wear to inside covers, tears to foldout map (all present and still attached), and one loose but present plate. Interior is otherwise clean, unmarked, and tight. 8vo. - over 7¾' in - 9¾' in.

(1877), 594pp, illus., fold-out color map at end, boards w/ beveled edges, gilt & black design & lettering, soiling & shelfwear to cover, spine is separated at front cover, front free ep is missing, front cover barely attached, binding is still fairly tight, owner's name to 1st blank pg, 6 leaves w/ several creases from mis-storage, one pg w/ turnerd corner, a couple pgs w/ browining from newspaper clipping, fold-out map at rear has a couple tears at folds, light foxing, otherwise contents clean.. Cloth. Fair/No Jacket.
