One of the most detailed, mid-19th Century American atlas maps of Cuba and the region, set within Coltons distinctive style of border, by one of the most active American map and atlas publishers of the period. From 1833 Colton established a successful business publishing guidebooks and railroad maps, and brought his two sons into the firm shortly before entering the atlas market in 1855. Map
