VG-/G-VG. 12.5 Cm x 19 .00 Cm. ix+262, 3 pp.plates ex-pagination; apart from a small Blackwell's sticker to front pastedown the only fault is that the covers, though clean and unworn, are rather dull; unclipped jacket has short tear top front by spine (now repaired), slight spine browning and other minor surface marks and edge rubbing. A useful overview of the state of British Psychology in early 1950s, with much on applied and educational psychology and coverage of most other fields, authors include Pear on social psychology, Eysenck on social attitudes, Himmelweit on personality tests and Zangwill on psychological research in field of neurology plus Frisby, Rodger, Banks, Drever and less well remembered others.
