Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce local history. ~SP26~ [0.5P] A history of The Dacotah Hotel in New Ulm, Brown County, southern Minnesota. Built in 1859 when there were only 500 citizens in the town, it was turned into a hospital just three years into its existence, as the Civil War raged, hosting, among many other surgeons, W.W. Mayo, father of the Mayo brothers who founded the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
