Hand-colored fold-out map of Minnesota ( large folding hand-colored lithographed map by G. W. & C. B. Colton) and surrounding states and territories is present at rear (map has three-inch tear from left side). Page edge gilt. Chip present to the crown of the spine. Last signature loosened. Text is clean and free of marks. Boards lightly soiled and scuffed. Early pioneer travel through the American Northwest; chiefly that of Minnesota. E-048; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 460 pages .
