New York: A Signet Book; The New American Library, 1969. First Signet Books paperback printing. Paperback. SIGNED. 142pp. Duodecimo [17.5 cm] Pictorial pocket book wraps. The text block edges have the publisher's yellow stain. Very good minus, with light soiling, age-toning, and creasing to the spine and wraps. The pages are darkened, and there is a minor numerical notation on the first page. The first "Grofield" novel, featuring Alan Grofield. Inscribed "For Fred, Donald E. Westlake (RS)" on the title page.
