Glasgow: Scottish Temperance Leaque, 1882. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. In dark green cloth, stamped black floral decoration, titles gilt on front and spine, corners bumped and spine rubbed. Title page is slightly tanned and has pencil marks. Yellow rear endpapers. Tanning to adverts at the end but otherwise text is clean and bright. No dustjacket.

Prize plate stuck to front pastedown. Slight cracking to hinges, with exposed netting, pages slightly loose. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Plates are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Stains and markings to some pages. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Medium crushing to spine ends causing fraying to cloth. Mottling to front board. Wear marks and slight stains overall. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Front board is slightly warped.
