From the private collection of renowned British archaeologist Sinclair Hood. Signed by Hood to front pastedown endpaper. Margin markings, notes and underlining by Hood throughout the text in both ink and pencil. An important work by Childe, which introduced the concept of culture-historical archaeology to the British archaeological circle. Very Scarce. Overall condition is Very Good Minus.
