Original publisher's brown cloth, lettered gilt on spine. From the working library of the actor Peter OToole (1932 - 2013) with his posthumous bookplate. This small typographic bookplate reads 'From the Library of Peter OToole and was designed by Michael Mitchell of Libanus Press and was authorised by the executors of his estate. Signed presentation from the author on the front endpaper to Peter OToole and his wife, Sian Philips, ""For Sian and Peter OToole and the children, because we all have crawled back from the dark edge of our origins, with happy memories, Desmond O'Grady, Roma 1968-69.""
